I had a CJ with the over the frame roadster headers, could only hook up a coupler, 40 series and chrome 2 1/2" turn outs, you guys have no idea what loud is, it's damn near running open headers on a drag car. I was replacing the purple hornies that the previous owner mounted, they are a glass pack tube, so much for cutting down the noise, those 40's were louder. Guys I was running 33x12.50's on a soft top CJ-5 at 75 MPH on the freeway, you never heard those BFG mud grips at all, the exhaust note was so loud, you barely heard my stereo, and it had a 150 watt amp. I'd do it again if I could, was the sweetest sound, you just can't get that tone when you have pipe on them, all the mufflers I've owned, I gotta say, Flowmaster is at the top of my list. There is a guy in Alabama selling a pair right now for $50, I'd get them if I could.
