I've been using Vista home basic with my laptop without issues, only put up a fight with 512 mb ram it was sold with.
My desktop was 800 MHZ 512 MB running winders ME, unlike all the complaints by people on how much junk that operating system was, I've had it burning DVDs and multitasking trouble free.
I go in and set my own start up, I found the Vista home premium has a long list of crap immediately set to hog the ram, many who don't know the magic word MSCONFIG have issues.
Got a AMD duo 4400, 320 GB, and 3 Gig ram, my monitor is acting up on me now.

I enjoy your humor! maybe because we have been in the mud, been stuck,been pulled out by strangers with the same passion. and have pulled out others with the same interests. that we understand each other better then most. and we don't even have to really know each other.
