fugly rims and usuless low pro's I agree on but we don't know what kind of tread was on them weather they were all terrains or not. Now I would like them try rock crawling or something with those small tires

From the left front I can see that they are AT tires. AKA usless in the mud. Just like all low profile "street" tires.

I was lucky enough to be invited out to Ford's proving grounds in Dearborn, Michigan and test drove the 08 Superduty through those mud trails. The rugged trail tires from BFG actually held up well in the mud and I did not get stuck.

I also drove over a long stretch (1/4 mile long) to test out the suspension and handling of the truck and the tires helped out there as well.

We posted a story about it last November.

There's also a video on truckblog of all the action.

ok, THAT looked fun. But even on a test mule, I'd ask for a snorkle in that slop. For the truck, not me.

It wasn't that bad. You just had to keep gunning it otherwise you would have got stuck LOL

It also began raining the day of testing, so that made it even more fun

I'd buy it with a diesel.....

then cut half of that plastic crap off the front. Looks like it'd scrape going over a speedbump.

both of the pictured rigs are crying for either road armor or ranch hand bumpers. Almost a crime, the weak looking ones used OEM. And when are they gonna come out with something like the Dodge Power Wagon? That'd rock.
