I just lifted my 05 4x2 F-150 truck with a 6" Skyjacker lift and 35's are as big as you can go. Even with that, there was still rubbing. I had to cut back some of the metal behind the front tires (pinch weld) with a sawzall, and trim a bit of the front valance in front of the tire with a box cutter (cuts through that like butter).

I highly recommend the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radial 35" Tires -- they look aggressive and are quiet.

Yea i saw that lift kit but i dont have the extra money to spend on it(i found that for over $2,000; if available cheaper let me know). I did find a Fabtech 2004-2007 F150 2wd 6" Lift Kit from performancelifts.com. Is that one still good? Its only $1,469.00. And again because of the money i was thinking about putting SUPER SWAMPER TrXus® MUD TERRAIN RADIAL TIRES on the back(they're $218 a tire) and Pro Comp All-Terrains($160 a tire) on the front. I think it'll work good enough for what i want to do but if not tell me.
