I'm on my 3rd Ford truck now... and after I drove one of the pre-release 2004 F-150's back in 2003 at a Ford media event in San Antonio, I knew I would have one some day. Just can't believe it took this long...!

A few months ago I bought a 2005 F-150 SuperCrew, 4x2, white with the 5.4L V8.

These trucks are so well built and have a ton of power. I can't wait to build mine up.

Anyway, welcome to the group... enjoy!

I love the styling of the new trucks, very aggressive looking.

I went from a '94 F-350, that rode like a tank, to my '05 F-150. I was amazed at the ride quality. My Wife had a 2000 Expedition at the time and the F-150 had a much smoother ride than the Expy.

Same here - went from a 2002 Harley F150 to the 2006 (from 4x2 to 4x4) and couldn't believe the differences. I love the styling, interior and power. Even with an aftermarket exhaust - it woke up a bit.

What's in the works?

I had 1 when they were first out.

Leased an 04 Supercrew in March 04, Great Truck the 5.4 3V sure had the power. I do miss it

I'm hoping to get another next year [08] if things workout

The drive-by-wire took a little getting used to. There was a noticeable lag in throttle response. I swapped out the intake for an AirRaid and the exhaust was replaced with a Magnaflow. That made a big difference in the throttle response. It got a little better after installing electric fans.

Lovin my 05 supercrew... but i still miss my 99. I do like my 5.4 for towing. I pulled my trailer and a 78 chevy pickup and had no trouble at all...

i have a 07 with the newer 4.6 pushing 248 instead of last years 231.. the whole upper intake is different then the past years it gets up and goes pretty good... i do agree with that drive by wire... my v6 has more response then the v8... course the v6 aint stock either... im hoping a chip and k&n system will help that out if not i got alot more planned... new plugs, hotter coils $$$, i was thinking of electric fans but since im glad i looked into it... the fan thats on there clutch it may be but the dang thing is computer controlled.
