Hmm.. My bro had some Dunlops on his old F-150 I can't remember what they were exactly, but they seemed to be good tires!

Had 'em in 33-12.5R16.5 a few years back and they were pretty good off the pavement but not really amazing in the mud. Flipped the truck over forward before I got into a winter in it so i cant say too much about the snow/ice handling other than from what I've heard, which wasnt real positive. Tires were about 85% when I bought the truck and I flipped it 59 days and 11300 miles later.

So overall, a decent tire? Worth $150?

that seems like a lot, mine in a 265/75-16 were only $500 for all 4 installed. That's the only reason I bought them, didn't have the extra dough for the BfG's.

265/70R17 brings the same premium price as other stock sizes. $150 a shot seems steep, but I'm used to dealing in 16's. Taller rim seems to equal bigger $$ for tires. If you're gonna pay a buck fifty, get some better rubbers in a more generic name, IMO. Try searching for Wild Spirit labels. They have one style similar to the old DTX, I think it's the XTC, that is a nice mileage tread with good if not great mud pattern as well. Had the DTX and can't brag 'em up enough. Think the XTC is the DTX' replacement in the lineup. Or New Venture. Their APR's ran me $124.50 installed in 285/75R16. The 2nd set ran me $129.50 in 305/70R16 per tire. Almost as good in mud as BFG AT better in snow, though.
