I just wanted to post up and give a little review about Maxxis tires. I have had Maxxis Mudder Buckshots (33x15) and they did an awsome job in the mud. They shed sticky mud really well and aren't too noisy on road. The sidewalls are pretty thick and are pretty puncture resistant. I desided to go up a size and I got THe Bighorns they are pretty much the same tread design as the buckshots except they have a sidewall lug. They also wear really well and have a semi soft compound. I think alot of people overlook these tires because of their price. REALLY LOW! when compaired to BFG's and procomps. I got a set of 35's for just under $650 installed! These are new, not recaps. I just thought I would share my satisfaction with you for those who are about to drop a Wad O'Cash on tires. ;!

I personally run MultiMile Radial RVT. They are a MT tire. I have had them almost 2 years and the only time I have been stuck in the mud with them I bottomed out and was buried past my front air dam. Here is a couple pics.

Ran Gateway Coyote Buckshot Bias tires on my first truck back in high school. 305/85-16 on the stock 16x6 steel wheels and no lift. They were awesome. Rubbed a bit on the leaf springs, but there was no body left to hit lol Only got about 28k miles out of them, though. Non radials don't do that well.

Oh, and Tex, those F150's aren't properly buried until the headlights are halfway submerged.

The first time I buried the '97, I was bet that I couldn't make a lap of the field above the quarry that had standing water in it and was chisel plowed. Got to where I had to turn around, and that was the end. Mud up to the bug deflector. Buried a pair of John Deere 7800's with axle duals, then the Ford 555D 4x4 backhoe. Then snapped a log chain. Then dragged everything out one machine at a time with the Cat 312BL hydraulic excavator. Was a bitchin' day, lol. That was in good ol' Wisconsin clay, not even the peat marsh on the south end of the farm. Oh, truck was shod with shit tires. 255/70R16 goodyear rt/s. Worst tires I've ever had. Tried it the next year with the BFG MT's in the same size and got farther. Still stuck, but almost made the lap. Got through it the next year on the 285/75 New Venture APR. Same thing is on the rig now, in 305/70R16.

Amazing what a set of 285's makes.... then 35's. When i was mudding the 255/70 BFG's, I was working it, bouncing the 4.6 off the rev limiter, etc, and a friend with an '88 F150 Scab on 35's was just walking through it like nothing, with her kids in the back seat saying "faster! faster!" lol.
