Compression test was good. Going to get good wires here hopefully that will fix it. Other issue is the damn turn signals not working I still ain't run that problem down yet. I'm getting rather pissed off to say the least. Fuses are good and I changed the flasher but it didn't work. My mechanic told me there is another flasher somewhere like under the dash but I ripped the damn dash out and everything and could not find one outside the fuse box. Only thing is a column switch and I can't figure out how to get that out. You can hear it engage the contacts fine though. I know to get it out I will have to pull the ignition and I don't know how to do that and I don't want to do it. This would cost out the ass to have fixed I'm sure.

check behing the glove box for the other flasher. my 1990 had one there with the horn relay.

In the engine compartment? If so only thing there in mine is the blower motor that don't work. I will take a gander in the morning though.

Valve cover gasket was leaking over cylinder 1 and 2 so I will finish that tomorrow and hopefully that fixes the problem. Ran out of light and it is pissing rain so I am done for the day on that deal.

Well this is a remanufactured straight six in it. It looks to be an injector motor that was turned into a carburated one.

Thing is I can not do it on the ground. So it goes to the shop tuesday. They will fix that and fix the turn signal. On this truck to change the column switch you have to pull the steering wheel and the ignition. It is a real pain in the ass. Hopefully this will go through today instead of the damn internet losing connection like yesterday.

It's pulling the same goddamn shit. Fuck this connection. I think I may give up on the internet all together I can't take this shit.

Nothing. I am pretty sure my mechanic's father finally passed on because he didn't come back to work until yesterday. I picked my truck up today and told him I'd bring it back Monday because I have a mandatory guard meeting in the morning. So Monday the intake gasket and column switch will get done and it will get stickers.
